2.39.36pm GMT Wed 17th Jan 2007

The BBC report that the 12-year-old girl who disappeared from her school in Saltwood has been found "safe and well". Jasmine Thomson, from Etchinghill, failed to return home after leaving Brockhill Park School in Saltwood at 11.30 am on Tuesday.

Concern had been expressed for her welfare as she has a medical condition which means that if she is knocked or hurt, she needs hospital treatment. Police said Jasmine was found safe and well in the Folkestone area on Wednesday morning.
