Drink, Drugs and Teenage Pregnancy Public Meeting

KCC Local Board are inviting local residents to a community event at The Shed, Folkestone Harbour, Folkestone CT20 1QH, to look at teenage pregnancy and substance abuse amongst the most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people in Shepway.

At the event on Wednesday May 21st at 5pm, they are seeking to hear about and discuss current and future policy and practice regarding young people and their consumption of drugs and alcohol and their sexual health.

This is a public meeting for you to attend and in particular if you are:

  • young people who want to just listen or contribute towards to debate

  • parents and carers

  • those dedicated to provide young people with sexual health, drugs and alcohol services

  • key partners, teachers and agencies

  • community leaders and those engaging in community development and anyone who has an interest.

Doors open at 4.30pm when there will be an opportunity to see more information on the youth work going on at the Shed.
