7.17.04pm BST (GMT +0100) Tue 26th Aug 2008

A new Lib Dems members guide has been produced, giving more information on the Party's democratic policy making process. Twice a year, in spring and autumn, elected representatives from Liberal Democrat constituency parties assemble at the party conference to establish federal party policy - the Liberal Democrat priorities for UK government.

The guide, written by Policy Committee Member Jeremy Hargreaves, is available at http://tinyurl.com/5ov22e
