Shepway Liberal Democrats wish all readers, family and friends a very happy Christmas and an enjoyable new year.

Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Campaigner for Folkestone and Hythe, Neil Matthews, has sent a personal message to members with his best wishes for the year ahead. He said:

"I would like to take this chance to say thank you to all those who work so hard at this time of year to keep Shepway safe and care for those in need.

"I do hope you all have an enjoyable time this Christmas and have a happy, peaceful and successful new year. I look forward to working with you in 2009!"
