We, the undersigned, fully deplore the recent decision of the council to relinquish the lease on Folkestone's Leas Cliff lift and the way it was done without public consultation. We call on the council to reverse its decision immediately and to invest in a properly maintained facility for the benefit of all local people and visitors.
