Hundreds of Lib Dem posters have sprung up all over our area

With local streets turning orange with Lib Dem posters, Peter Carroll's campaign to become the next MP for Folkestone and Hythe was officially launched at the Leas Cliff Hall on Saturday night.

A packed meeting of local residents and supporters attended the campaign meeting.

Guest speaker Lib Dem MP Edward Davey said, "The campaign in this constituency is going to be the most exciting in the whole country. With Labour out of the race this is a straight fight between Lib Dem Peter Carroll and Michael Howard."

Peter Carroll thanked everyone for their support and said, "I know that together we can achieve something remarkable here and give our area an MP who will really fight for local people and work hard on issues that really matter."
