Campaign for Gender Balance Inspiration Day

January 6, 2009 11:27 AM

The Campaign for Gender Balance is a Liberal Democrat party initiative to encourage more women to become involved in the Liberal Democrats. Their Inspiration & Training Days are friendly and informal events, designed to give female members the opportunity to learn more about becoming active in the party.

The South East Inspiration Day, being run in collaboration with the Women Liberal Democrats, is being held on Saturday 24th January from 10.00am to 4.00pm at Barton Church, 32 Barton Road, Canterbury, Kent, CT1 1RQ

The day will include information and advice on getting more involved in the party, whether you want to find out more about becoming a council or Parliamentary candidate, or simply want to get more active on a local or national level. If you are interested, please do come along to this event - no experience is necessary!

There is a £5 contribution towards the day, which includes lunch, and this can be paid in advance by cheque, made out to the 'Liberal Democrats'.

To register for the training, or for further information about the day, please contact the Campaign Coordinator, Vicky Booth, on Vicky.booth@libdems.org.uk or phone 020 73404992.
