Save Our Fountain

Danielle Anson with the Simon Cooper Weston Fountain

Danielle Anson in East Cliff with the Simon Cooper Weston Fountain

We the undersigned call on Folkestone and Hythe District Council to make a firm promise that the 'Sidney Cooper Weston Fountain' at the junction of Wear Bay Road and Wear Bay Crescent will not be moved.

The fountain is a part of our local heritage and has been in this location for 97 years.

The Council has said that at this time there are no plans to move the fountain, but have failed to promise to keep the fountain where it is. We ask the District Council to make that straightforward promise.
